Choose which Suno model to target

The same blueprint does not produce the same prompt for every Suno model, because the models do not expose the same controls. MusicPrompt makes that difference explicit instead of exporting settings that will be ignored.

What the target model changes

Pick the target model in Controls → Target model. Two things follow from that choice:

1. Controls appear or disappear. Weirdness, Style Influence, Audio Influence and Duration are only shown when the selected profile actually has them. On the free v4.5-All profile the sliders are hidden, because setting them would be theatre.
2. The Settings field shrinks. Only available controls are compiled into the Settings checklist, so you are never asked to set something the model does not have.

The Style, Lyrics and Exclude fields are unaffected. Those three are text, and text works the same everywhere.

Which one to pick

Target the model you will actually generate with. If you are on the free tier, choosing the paid profile does not unlock anything — it only adds settings to your checklist that you cannot apply.

If you switch models mid-project, treat it as a variable like any other: create a new version, change only the target model, and compare. A track that falls apart on a different model usually depended on a control that model does not have.

About the verification date

Each model profile carries a verifiedAt date, shown in the Controls panel. Suno changes its interface faster than any third-party tool can track, so that date tells you how recently a human checked the mapping. When it looks stale, trust Suno's own interface over the checklist.
